A while back I received the following list; from where, I do not recall.  
As winter digs in its heels and spring feels like such a long way off, 
I thought it was a good time to share these encouraging words with all of you…

Our Thinking vs. God’s Promises

 

“It’s impossible.”

All things are possible with God. (Luke 18:27)

 

“I can’t do it.”

I can do all things through Christ.

(Philippians. 4:13)

 

“I’m too tired.”

When I come to Jesus, He gives me rest.

(Matthew 11:28-30)

 

“I’m always worried and frustrated.”

I cast all my anxiety upon God. (1 Peter 5:7)

 

“Nobody really loves me.”

God loves us all. (John 3:16 & 13:34)

 

“I can’t go on.”

God’s grace is sufficient for me.

(2 Corinthians 12:9 & Psalm 91:15)

 

“I can’t figure things out.”

God will direct my steps. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

 

“I’m not able.”

God is able. (2 Corinthians 9:8)

 

“It’s not worth it.”

God will make it all worth while. (Romans 8:28)

 

“I can’t forgive myself.”

God has forgiven me. (1 John 1:9, Romans 8:1)

 

“I can’t manage.”

God will supply all my needs.

(Philippians 4:19)

 

“I’m afraid.”

God has not given me a spirit of fear.

(2 Timothy 1:7)

 

“I don’t have enough faith.”

God has given me a measure of faith.

(Romans 12:3)

 

“I’m not smart enough.”

Jesus is my wisdom. (1 Corinthians 1:30)

 

“I feel all alone.”

God will never leave me or forsake me.

(Hebrews 13:5)
